Position SummaryIn this role, you will be a CNC Machinist. We are NOT LOOKING FOR CNC operators who just load a part and push a button. We are seeking folks who can set up, do tool changes, offsets, etc at a minimum. There are multiple levels to CNC Machinist and pay will be based on skill level.
Position Responsibilities

• Set up CNC for whatever job/project you are assigned. Could make multiple changes per day, or may run the same project for a week
• Must read and interpret blue prints and have an understanding of GD&T
• Reading G&M Code
• You will be running both Mills and Lathes
• Ability to troubleshoot setups and tooling
• Verify settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample workpieces using Micrometers, calipers and gages
• Ability to locate and upload programs for downloading to machines

Minimum Requirements

• Must have 3+ years of CNC setup and operation
• Ability to read and understand blue prints
• Experience and understanding of GD&T
• Experience reading G&M Code
• Ability to pass a drug and background check
