Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDescription:

Job Summary: Performs bench-type processes to repair mechanical and electrical machinery, using hand-tools, electronic test equipment, service manuals and pneumatic tooling.


Duties include:

  • Repair and rebuild electric motors and small machinery.
  • Repair small hand tools, generators, pumps.
  • Disassemble scrap motors, tools, etc.
  • Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
  • Understand and complete proper documentation, test procedures and timekeeping.
  • Communicate with management regarding scheduling and motor shop issues, as well as giving feedback
  • Performs other related duties as required.


Requirements:

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds often.
  • Bending, twisting, reaching, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Good communication skills and work ethic.
  • Good attendance history.
  • Strong electrical & mechanical aptitude, maintenance, machinery repair background.
