About the Role:


We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Dental Assistant to join our team. You will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinical area.


Responsibilities:


  • Assistant Duties:
    • Preparing dental instruments and materials for procedures.
    • Chairside assisting the dentist during examinations, cleanings, fillings, and other procedures.
    • Taking dental x-rays and intraoral scans.
    • Sterilization of instruments.
    • Turning over rooms and keeping a clean work environment.
    • Cleaning and decontaminating used dental instruments according to established protocols
    • Loading and operating sterilizers (e.g., autoclaves) to ensure proper sterilization cycles
    • Maintaining sterilization logs and records.
    • Ensuring the sterilization area is clean and organized.
    • Preparing treatment rooms for the next patient by restocking supplies, disinfecting surfaces, and laying out necessary instruments.

Qualifications:


  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with Dental assisting, preferably in a multi-specialty dental practice.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multi-task effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented and possess a strong commitment to accuracy.
  • Team player with a positive and professional attitude.
  • Knowledge of Carestack and Slack is a plus.
