The Default Audit Coordinator is responsible for managing all internal and external Audit and Quality Control reviews and responses. Coordinate deep dive loan level reviews between the various reviewers and responders for items that may appear to be an initial finding. Provide adequate responses and tracking for remediation items to clear action items. Provide weekly and monthly reporting to management for transparency. Duties and Responsibilities:

· Respond to monthly internal Servicing Quality Control reviews and external audits to support the mortgage servicing platforms. Work with all front-end servicing LOB’s to determine root cause and develop action plans to correct the errors.

· Perform monthly Quality Control reviews of the Loan Servicing platform to ensure compliance with all federal, state and investor requirements; re-validate prudent loan information to ensure accuracy.

· Provide feedback on loan quality/compliance to leaders of each line of business.

· Communicate to all parties and build relationships with both internal and external partners.

· Respond to internal and 3rd party audit findings including Quality Control requests for supporting documentation necessary to complete reviews.

· Partner with the business line to develop and monitor action plans for continuous improvement.

· Request updates to policy and procedure where gaps may exist.

· Maintains a thorough working knowledge of all State, Federal, County and City requirements and regulations. Attends training sessions as required.

· Performs such other duties as may be assigned by Default Management

Requirements:

Experience and Skills:

· 3 to 5 years of banking or mortgage servicing experience with emphasis in compliance, audit, or quality control preferred.

· Prior experience working with loan servicing systems, particularly MSP and AllRegs, preferred.

· Effectively handle multiple assignments while meeting departmental performance measures.

· Ability to organize and coordinate projects for timely delivery to leadership.

· Ability to provide outstanding customer service to internal/external partners.

· Strong analytical skills and demonstrated decision-making ability.

· Ability to collaborate with others in a team setting in a fast-pasted environment.

· Rapidly adapts to changing information, conditions and/or unexpected opportunities.

· Understanding of FHLMC/FNMA/FHA/VA/GNMA guidelines and State/Federal regulations.


Education:

· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

· Five (5) plus years’ working in a mortgage servicing environment, with a majority of the experience in Loss Mitigation, Foreclosure, Bankruptcy or Evictions.
