Job Summary

A Ride Attendant constantly interacts with guests and their number one responsibility is the safety of the riders. Ride Attendants must have the well-being of guests in mind at all times. Ride Attendants must be able to interact with children and adults on a continuous basis. 

Responsibilities

  • Ensure appropriate number of people are selected for the ride or attraction
  • Ensure children are the appropriate height and age for rides
  • Ensure passengers are securely fastened
  • Assist passengers who might need help boarding
  • Explain safety procedures to riders
  • Operate equipment that starts and shuts down ride
  • Inspect equipment for anything that could be a safety concern
  • Clean up debris around ride
  • Enforce all safety regulations and stay current with safety rules and procedures
