Job Summary
Majestic Residences is looking for a Caregiver Resident Ambassador to work in one of our upscale assisted living home communities.
Resident Ambassadors are dedicated, hard-working individuals who give loving care to our incredible residents. You are encouraged to build strong relationships with our residents while assisting them with activities of daily living. Enjoy the support of working with a caring team in a family-like environment. The Resident Ambassador is responsible for demonstrating the H.O.M.E care values to our residents and families. The Caregiver will comply with federal, state, and local standards and regulations and Majestic Residences policies to promote the highest quality care and services to our residents.

Responsibilities
The Caregiver is responsible for all duties related to safely providing for the resident's care and well-being. It requires a mature and responsible attitude and the ability to establish confidence in the resident population regarding their care needs. Responsibilities include:

  • Direct Patient Care: Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming.
  • Vital Signs Monitoring/Documentation/Data Analysis: Take, record, and document vital signs including temperature, blood pressure, pulse rate, and respiration rate; record test results and maintain accurate laboratory records; analyze test results and report findings accurately to healthcare providers.
  • Sample Collection/Laboratory Testing: Collect blood, urine, or other specimen from patients for laboratory testing; perform tests such as blood counts, urinalysis, and microbiological cultures using automated equipment and manual techniques.
  • Mobility Assistance: Help patients with mobility by transferring them in and out of beds or wheelchairs and assisting with walking.
  • Nutritional Assistance: Cook nutritious meals and feed patients who cannot feed themselves.
  • Patient Comfort: Maintain a clean and comfortable environment for patients, including changing bed linen.
  • Patient Safety: Monitor patients for any signs of distress or changes in condition and report to nursing staff or physicians.

Qualifications
  • 3 plus years of caregiving experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Willing to complete a background check
  • Certification for CPR/First Aid
  • Certification for Food Handler
  • Able to navigate Synkwise or similar cloud-based, web-based platforms for healthcare providers
  • State-Specific Caregiver Certification
