Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are looking for 2nd and 3rd shift Alloy Technicians to join our world class team near Twinsburg, Ohio
Principal Responsibilities:
- Operate, maintain, fill and clean all furnaces and launder systems to ensure timely delivery of clean, in specification metal to the casting machines.
- Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Receive instructions and information from supervisor.
- Check temperatures and other gauges for proper working order, adjusting as necessary.
- Add hot metal, ingot, sows, and scrap to furnaces.
- Take alloy gas readings and submit to Quality.
- Flux, rake, skim and clean all furnaces and launder systems to remove oxidized aluminum from walls and impurities from the bottom.
- Able to operate a forklift to move skimming's and scrap to reverbs or staging area.
- Able to operate a forklift and necessary equipment to clean the Reverb Furnaces.
