Summit Veterinary Referral Center is seeking a Kennel Assistant

This position is perfect for someone who is looking for experience, likes working in a fast-paced environment and pays close attention to detail.

Your role:

• Support and assist the janitorial team in maintaining a clean hospital
• Ensuring kennels, and cages are cleaned
• Cleaning treatment and ward areas after use
• Ensuring laundry is done and maintained
• Ensuring food and water dishes are washed
• Stocking treatment, ward and kennel areas
• Assisting Veterinary Assistants and Technicians as needed
• Other duties may be assigned as needed

Who you are:

• Experience in the veterinary field preferred, but we are willing to train the right person
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Great communication skills
• Compassionate, reliable, detail oriented, dependable, trustworthy

Availability:

• ER Operates 7 days/wk, 24 hours, 365 days/year
• Surgery Operated 5 days/wk
• Shifts may vary weekly depending on need

Benefits:

• Hourly pay range- $16.00 - $20.00 depending on experience
• Night differential paid for any hours worked within 6pm-6am
  • Monday- Thursday $3/hr
  • Friday-Sunday $5/hr
