As an intern with our Publicity team, you'll get the exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of supporting our global public relations efforts. Every day, you'll be working hand in hand with our talented team to create captivating press releases, handle social media accounts, organize interviews, and keep an eye on media coverage.

But that's not all You'll also have the chance to be part of the action by attending industry events, screenings, and film festivals. Get ready for an unforgettable experience where you'll be able to showcase your skills and learn from the best in the field.

Responsibilities
  • Format and organize press breaks and reviews for all of our titles.
  • Research and collect title-specific news coverage and online reactions, then format them into related documents (e.g. Reaction Memo, Press Breaks, Reviews).
  • During festivals, adapt schedules for breaks, reviews, and reaction memos based on festival screening schedules.
  • Assist the publicity team with administrative documents, including status reports, RSVP documents, screening requests, critic's grids, calendars, agendas, and press request grids.
  • Maintain talent schedules for press days and upcoming events with keen attention to detail.
  • Draft screening reports for specific titles and awards screenings.
  • Create and edit email blasts and social materials using Photoshop and Premiere.
  • Coordinate phone interviews for talent and filmmakers.
  • Provide assistance to the Publicity team, particularly in managing special projects and administrative tasks.
Compensation

Please note the following details about this internship opportunity:

  • Our internships are paid and offer a minimum duration of 12 weeks, providing you with ample time to gain valuable experience.
  • As a valued member of our team, you will receive an hourly salary of $16.90.
  • We value your commitment to learning and growing. Therefore, we prefer candidates who can commit to being available 2-3 full days a week for the entire internship term, working on a part-time basis approximately 16-24 hours per week. You will have the flexibility to choose your schedule so you can easily fit it into your school calendar.
  • This internship will primarily take place onsite at our New York or Los Angeles office, providing you with a dynamic work environment in either of our offices.
  • Please take into consideration that for the duration of your internship, you will be responsible for organizing your own accommodation and dependable transportation in the designated location.

Requirements

To be eligible for this internship, you must be enrolled in an accredited college or university, taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (Spring/Fall) prior to participation in the internship program, or currently participating in a NEON Internship.
