We are adding an Enrollment Specialist to join our crew in Berwick, PA The Enrollment Specialist is responsible for guiding individuals through the enrollment process for various programs or services offered by Gloria Gates CARE. They assist applicants in completing necessary forms through Medicaid, verifying eligibility requirements, and ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete. The Enrollment Specialist serves as a primary point of contact for applicants, providing information, answering questions, and offering support throughout the enrollment process.

An Enrollment Specialist plays a vital role in facilitating the enrollment process for individuals seeking to access programs or services offered by an organization. By providing guidance, support, and assistance throughout the enrollment process, these specialists contribute to ensuring eligible individuals can benefit from the resources and opportunities available to them.

KEY RESPONSIBILIES:
  • Provide guidance and support to individuals seeking to enroll in programs such as Medicaid or services offered by Gloria Gates CARE.
  • Explain eligibility criteria, application procedures, and required documentation to members.
  • Assist members in completing enrollment forms accurately and efficiently.
  • Verify applicant eligibility based on predetermined criteria or program guidelines.
  • Review and ensure all required documentation is submitted with enrollment applications.
  • Maintain accurate records of members information, documentation, and enrollment status.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for members, addressing inquiries, and providing updates on enrollment status.
  • Communicate with members via phone, email, or in-person meetings to facilitate the enrollment process.
  • Follow up with members regarding missing or incomplete documentation and provide assistance as needed.
  • Enter members’ information into the organization's database or enrollment system accurately.
  • Generate reports on enrollment metrics, including member status, completion rates, and demographic data.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy and confidentiality regulations when handling member information.
  • Participate in team meetings or training sessions to stay informed about program updates, policies, and procedures.
  • Work closely with other staff members to streamline the enrollment process and improve efficiency.

  • Empathy and patience when assisting applicants, especially those facing challenges or barriers to enrollment.
  • Successful completion of background check and drug screen.
  • Maintain compliance with all Gloria Gates CARE standards, including Conduct, Compliance, and all other policies and procedures. 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience with Medicaid enrollment and Medicaid background is preferred.
  • Previous experience in customer service, administrative support, or enrollment coordination is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of enrollment processes, eligibility criteria, and documentation requirements for relevant programs or services.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse populations.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, documentation, and recordkeeping.
  • Proficiency in using computer software and databases for data management and reporting purposes.
