We operate a dynamic mobile kitchen and food trailers, and collaborate with delivery services like DoorDash, Postmates, UberEats, and GrubHub. Our wholesale range includes hibiscus drinks, grains, flours, oils, and spices.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a diligent and organized Shipper/Receiver to manage the flow of goods in and out of our facility. This role involves overseeing all aspects of shipping and receiving, including verifying shipments, preparing orders for dispatch, and maintaining accurate inventory records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Shipping Duties:
    • Package and label products for shipment, ensuring they are securely packed to prevent damage.
    • Prepare shipping documents and coordinate with delivery services to schedule pickups.
    • Load orders onto delivery vehicles, ensuring correct and timely dispatch.
  • Receiving Duties:
    • Inspect and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders, checking for accuracy and condition of products.
    • Unload deliveries and organize products in the warehouse.
    • Update inventory records and report any discrepancies or damages.
  • Inventory Management:
    • Conduct regular inventory counts and assist with stock management.
    • Organize and restock shelves to ensure efficient workflow and easy access to products.
  • Quality Control:
    • Inspect products during shipping and receiving to ensure they meet Sheba Foods’ quality standards.
    • Maintain high standards of packaging to preserve the quality and freshness of products.
  • Warehouse Maintenance:
    • Keep the warehouse clean and organized, following all safety and hygiene protocols.
    • Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and report any issues promptly.
  • Team Collaboration:
    • Work closely with other team members to support overall warehouse operations.
    • Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues to resolve any issues or delays.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer skills for inventory and order management.
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy boxes (up to 50 lbs) and stand for long periods.

Additional Requirements:

  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
  • Must pass a background check and drug test as part of the hiring process.
