Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSunergy Solar is looking to hire a Utility Supervisor to help our Utility department. This role requires agents to submit pre-file documents and interconnection agreements to local utility companies. You will work closely with other departments and customers to ensure a smooth process.
Qualifications
  • A strong candidate is detail-oriented with excellent customer service skills, good instincts, excellent problem-solving, and sound judgment for balancing quality, productivity, and team morale
  • This person will need to be adaptable to the fast-paced, ever-changing nature of solar
  • Utility agents should have the following skills, education, and experience:
  • Attention to detail is paramount
  • Strategic decision making
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Have a sense of urgency and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Effectively prioritize and manage time well
  • Flexibility to adapt to an ever-changing environment
  • Analytical skills
  • Exceptional customer service, active listening, verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with computers, especially with CRM software, and strong

Responsibilities
  • The Supervisor's role is to help the department manager keep KPIs within the normal range.
  • This position actively manages the Utility companies in their assigned market.
  • Oversee all projects in their assigned area, progressing quickly through the process.
  • Perform project audits to ensure a project is ready to submit documents for permission to operate.
  • Effectively communicate to homeowners any needed fixes and generate service tickets for required changes.
  • Complete all necessary tasks to move projects to the Utility and PTO teams.
