Description: Ride a bus shuttle or a van route with students before and after school. Pay will be based on route type.
Performance Duties:
- Keep students in their seats on the bus when it is in motion. They will also stay seated until the bus comes to a complete stop for unloading.
- Be alert and cautious. Be professional in your action, speech and appearance. Refrain from profane or indecent language while engaged in your duties or while in the presence of students. Pupils on the bus will likewise be expected to refrain from use of any of the above.
- Report any problem you have to the Transportation Supervisor.
- Refrain from the use of personal cell phones/electronics while on duty. Cell phones should only be used in emergency situations.
- Report any accident immediately to the Transportation Supervisor, regardless of how small it might seem. Also report any possible hazards encountered or any other problems that might arise.
