Summary of description:
Performs a variety of customer service , in store, marketing, promoting, advertising and stocking duties related to selling, ordering and receiving of powersports parts and accessories for the dealership.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Sell powersport products and or services to meet the customers needs.
  • Maintain customer goodwill by greeting and acknowledging all customers he or she comes in contact with
  • Assist in keeping Parts Department clean and orderly
  • Create and handle parts sales transactions included taking form of payments
  • Assist the Service Department in ordering and receiving parts for customer powersport repairs
  • Maintain the retail sales floor and displays to meet or exceed the dealerships and customers standards
  • Come out to the sales floor and assist customers in their needs for accessories and upgrades to their powersport
  • Perform housekeeping tasks to maintain an exceptional environment for arriving customers
  • Manage a cash drawer and performing accurate collection of payments from customers
  • Attends manufacturer training as assigned by their manager
  • Makes and takes phone calls from potential customers
  • Assist with daily inventory checks of dealership parts and accessories
Qualifications and requirements:

  • Must be able to work the dealerships scheduled operating days and hours
  • Current retail parts sales experience is a must
  • Mechanical knowledge of how engines and vehicles work
  • Ability to speak effectively one on one is a must
  • Basic computer skills is a must
  • Good organizational skills is a must
  • Requires the use of both hands
  • frequently required to bend, stoop, crouch, reach, handle boxes and parts that may exceed 60 lbs.
