We are seeking a creative driven team player passionate about impacting children in a lasting and positive way.

The Soccer Shots Connecticut Program Associate is will work closely with the Executive Director and is responsible for planning, managing, and promoting Soccer Shots exceptional childrens programs throughout Greater Hartford and Central Connecticut region. The individual will assist in setting strategic direction and be a lead in efficiently executing day to day operations The Program Director will be:

  • Setting an example in the areas of personal character, commitment, communication, and work habits;
  • Following established plans and strategies to strengthen the current business while expanding the customer base; and
  • Demonstrating excellent customer service through both professional and timely communication at all times.
The Program Associate works alongside the Executive Director and Director of Operations to create and maintain season and annual plans, and is responsible for the following job functions:

  • Season planning and preparation
  • Season marketing and promotion
  • Management of registration and customer relations
  • Oversight of partner services
  • Program communications and website management
  • Executing season start weeks and in-season responsibilities
  • Leading coach team meetings and special events
  • Assisting in recruiting, hiring, scheduling, training, evaluating, and managing instructors when needed.
  • Coaching 15-18 sessions per week in the Winter & 12-15 sessions per week Fall/Spring/Summer seasons
Marketing and Communications:
  • Performing seasonal marketing/promotions for Park Programs - locating marketing opportunities online, researching and securing space on blogs and other family-friendly websites and events. When necessary, would also be involved in running program demos, distributing registration forms and brochures, hanging lobby and classroom posters, placing bandit signs and in-school displays, and distributing final reminders.
  • Attendance at local community events promoting park programs
  • Communicating with parents, directors, and other account representatives (includes writing thank you notes and delivering thank you gifts)
  • Writing and emailing newsletters, per schedule/for Park Programs
  • Managing Soccer Shots Facebook page as necessary for Park Programs
  • Representing Soccer Shots at industry events, open houses, etc.
Administration:
  • Scheduling and preparing all materials to promote the upcoming season
  • Organizing and managing the registration and enrollment process at all Public sites
  • Grouping participants in online registration
  • Assisting in maintaining instructor equipment and prize inventory
