Primary Purpose:


Under limited supervision, perform tasks to ensure efficient and accurate emission reporting and compliance with the various Federal, State and Local regulatory requirements in-support of the LNG Facility. Other duties may include assisting in auditing, providing technical advice to other departments, assisting in the preparation of presentations and technical reports, as well as interpretation of data. The Environmental Coordinator will interface with other departments to ensure operating parameters are consistent with applicable permit requirements.

This position is located in Hackberry, LA. Transportation Worker Identification Credentials (TWIC) is required.


Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Analyze process data to determine compliance with permit specific requirements as well as identifying anomalies
  • Monitor emissions by using process information software consisting of but not limited to PI vision, PI datalink, SEEQ, & Power BI
  • Calculate and analyze greenhouse gas data to prepare regulatory and Shareholder reports
  • Manage greenhouse gas reduction programs & strategies, and partnership initiatives
  • Manage greenhouse gas LDAR program and track leaking components from discovery to repair
  • Schedule and manage aerial greenhouse gas surveys
  • Ensure alignment with Oil & Gas Methane Partnership (OGMP) methodologies
  • Engage in frequent interaction with Shareholders to communicate Cameron LNG’s progress on greenhouse gas reduction & monitoring strategies
  • Prepare charts, graphs, and reports from emission data to determine trends, areas of concern, and/or deficiencies
  • Assist with permitting activities as needed
  • Interface with federal, state and local agencies, and assist with the communication and coordination of company activities including field visits and environmental inspections with internal and external organizations
  • Support data entry in Cameron’s Compliance Management System and assists in development and maintenance of other sustainability programs as requested

Qualifications:

Education:
  • Bachelor Degree preferred in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Applied Science or other equivalent education

Experience:
  • Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of experience in emissions/process data management and/or sustainability data management
Skills/ Knowledge/ Abilities:
  • Requires strong and well-developed interpersonal skills in order to 1) develop good working relationships with all departments, and 2) be effective in communicating the compliance objectives for the site
  • Understand how to use PFDs and PIDs
  • Good communication and presentation skill
  • Ability to manage multiple and complex issues and work independently
  • General knowledge of air emission calculations, monitoring techniques, reporting, and permitting.
  • Ability to learn and obtain necessary skill/knowledge requirements within time-frame designated by management.
  • Organized and able to manage multiple activities and programs timely and with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Proficient data management skills in various software programs


Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to stand, walk, climb, run, sit, kneel, twist, bend, pull, push, carry, lift, reach overhead and drive. Most activities involve movement of either the upper and lower body extremities or both and the joints associated with these areas of the body.
  • Must be able to climb stairs and ladders that ranges from 4 ft to 200 ft.
  • Must be able to lift equipment needed to perform work.
  • Must be able to wear safety equipment such as safety harness, respirator and other protective equipment as needed to perform job.
  • Must be willing to be on call, work overtime as required
  • Must be willing to travel for trainings as required.

DOT Requirements:

The U.S Department of Transportation (DOT) and the company have adopted regulations governing the control of drug use by persons in certain job classifications. This position is subject to the Federal Pipelines Regulation; and is stipulated in the 49 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) part 40 that requires drug and alcohol testing and must meet the testing standards.
