Hospitalist APP

We are looking for dedicated, caring Hospitalist APPs to provide medical care for critically ill patients. This position will float to several areas within the hospital.

Responsibilities:

Under the direction of the Hospitalist Program Medical Director:

· Performs comprehensive healthcare examinations to patients and prescribe treatments for the critically ill patients.

· Work with multidisciplinary team to contribute to provide high quality care leading to optimal outcomes in patient care and satisfaction.

Requirements:

EDUCATION

• A Master's degree (MSN) or Doctorate in Nursing (DNP) in Nursing or Physician Assistant Program required.

EXPERIENCE: One year experience in a hospitalist APP capacity required

SPECIALIZED TRAINING/SKILLS:

• Current APN or PA license to practice in the state of IL
• PA: NCCPA Board Certification
• Illinois Controlled Substance & DEA License
• BLS/ACLS
