About the Position

As a Surgical Technician with Meadville Medical Center, you will assist the surgical team during operative procedure by utilizing proper aseptic technique. To do so, you will need current and up-to-date knowledge of equipment, suture, and procedures being performed at the hospital. The Surgical Technician will prepare the Operating Room and ensure all necessary equipment has been disinfected, assembled, and is in working order.

Requirements
  • High School Diploma 
  • Medical background
  • Previous scrub experience, preferred 
  • Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technician program
