Warehouse Clerk

The Warehouse Clerk is an integral part of the Warehouse team. The position will be expected to ship and receive material on a daily basis while adhering to safety standards.

· Receive incoming shipments of goods and verify their accuracy against purchase orders or invoices in the ERP system.

· Unload, unpack, and inspect received items for damages or defects.

· Label and tag received items and update inventory records accordingly.

· Assist in sorting and organizing received inventory for storage or distribution.

· Retrieve items from inventory based on picking lists or customer orders.

· Pack orders securely and accurately to ensure safe transportation.

· Label packages with appropriate shipping information.

· Prepare shipping documents and coordinate with carriers for outbound shipments.

· Assist in physical inventory counts as needed.

· Monitor inventory levels and assist in replenishment activities.

· Identify and report any inventory discrepancies or shortages.

· Ensure that the warehouse is clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.

· Assist in optimizing warehouse layout and storage methods to maximize space utilization.

· Arrange and stack items in designated storage areas according to inventory management procedures.

· Assist in preparing shipping and receiving documents, including packing slips, bills of lading, and any additional paperwork.

· Respond to inquiries from internal departments, customers, and vendors regarding inventory status or order inquiries.

· Assist in maintaining filing systems and other administrative tasks as assigned.

· Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

· Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

· Participate in training programs related to safety, equipment operation, and job-specific tasks.

· Other duties and special projects as assigned.

· Two years of ERP entry experience.

· Two years of shipping, receiving, warehouse experience.

· Basic math skills.

· Communication skills will all level of internal and external customers.

· Advanced computer skills and knowledge.

· Ability to drive a forklift and adhere to safety rules.

· Can do attitude while driven to go above and beyond.
