VDC Manager

The VDC Manager will be responsible for managing and overseeing the Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) process for a major construction project. They will work closely with project teams to implement and optimize BIM (Building Information Modeling) technologies and processes, ensuring efficient collaboration and integration of all design and construction disciplines.

• Lead the implementation and management of the VDC process on multiple projects.
• Collaborate with project teams to develop and optimize BIM execution plans.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
• Provide oversight and guidance in the creation and use of BIM models and related project documentation.
• Ensure adherence to industry standards, best practices, and project-specific requirements.
• Continuously evaluate and improve VDC processes and technologies.
• Training and mentoring project teams on BIM processes and tools.
• Assist in the development of project proposals and bids related to VDC.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in VDC or related field.
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
• Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, or AutoCAD.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes and industry standards.
• Ability to lead and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
