BMW of Bridgeport has an opening for full-time service receptionist. Seeking an enthusiastic self-starter with an upbeat personality who is detail-oriented. Must have a professional appearance and be able to work well on a team 

Must have exceptional verbal, written, interpersonal communication, customer service and multi-tasking skills. Play a key role in maintaining the stores’ reputation and image while showing a strong desire to serve our client’s needs. Ideal candidates will have the ability to be flexible in a fast paced team-oriented work environment, are driven to succeed and learn.

Responsibilities:

  • Take payment from customers who are picking their vehicle up from service
  • Assist customers in any aspect of conversation in a pleasant, helpful and professional manner while delivering a premium customer service experience
  • Close and file repair orders 
  • Assist the service advisors with payments and paperwork
  • Keep the front desk organized
  • Keep the customer waiting area tidy and stocked
  • Manage all required paperwork and records and prepares documentation (forms, reports, etc.) when needed
  • Answer the phones and schedule service appointments 
  • Perform basic administrative and other duties as assigned
  • Provide support to service / sales / parts staff and managers as needed
  • Excellent problem solving and decision making skills
  • Be dependable and punctual

Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • One year previous receptionist experience is preferred
  • One year previous cashiering experience is preferred
  • High School Graduate or equivalent
  • Must be at least 18-years-old
  • Pass a 7 year criminal background check and drug screen
  • Bi-Lingual not required, but preferred
