Location: Houston, TX
About Us: Client is a leading provider of high-quality paints and coatings, committed to delivering exceptional products and service to our customers.
Position Overview: We are currently seeking a skilled Paint Tinter to join our team at our Houston location. The ideal candidate will be responsible for tinting paints and coatings in one- and five-gallon containers, as well as assisting in batch making, filling, mixing, and other related tasks. This role will also involve utilizing computer-operated machinery for dispensing various pigments.
Responsibilities:
  • Operate all paint equipment and software programs effectively, including tinters, shakers, and other designated equipment for Tint Fulfillment.
  • Meet customers' color matching needs accurately and efficiently.
  • Adhere to all applicable safety rules and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Provide color samples for customers to ensure satisfaction with the final product.
  • Safely and efficiently operate a forklift.
  • Maintain all products in a quality and marketable condition.
  • Work independently and efficiently to meet production goals.
  • Match colors by sight to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Keep work station clean and organized to maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements:
  • Previous experience in paint tinting or a related field preferred.
  • Ability to operate computer-operated machinery and software programs.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to match colors accurately.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Compensation:
  • Pay: $21-23 per hour, Based on experience.
