Pay Rate
$30/hr
Job Description:
  • provide OT treatment sessions to residents on OT caseload (ADLs like dressing grooming bathing toileting, therapeutic exercise, therapeutic activities, community reintegration activities, cognitive retraining, Neuro Re-ed, Pt/Staff education, etc.),
  • write daily notes for each resident seen that day,
  • write weeklies for each resident,
  • perform OT group sessions if any,
  • deep clean gym after each resident use of equipment,
  • linen duties,
  • assist OTR during OT evals/referrals when resident being assessed is a 2-person assist,
  • maintaining/managing OT equipment/supplies,
  • assisting with OT/Rehab projects (for example: Dining Rounds Audit to prep Survey) as needed,
  • provide Inservice to staff like nursing (for example: teaching CNA’s how to correctly don/doff elbow splints)
Requirements:
  • CA COTA License
  • 2-3 References
  • Successful completion of a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant program.
  • CPR certification or willingness to obtain it.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
