Job Opportunity: Document Control Specialist

As a Document Control Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing and safeguarding project documentation. This position requires a detail-oriented and organized professional to ensure the integrity and accuracy of project records. Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the management of all project documentation, ensuring current and accurate records while archiving obsolete revisions.
  • Distribute technical documents to project stakeholders, ensuring material and document compliance on-site.
  • Maintain logs and databases for weld, revision histories, and material traceability.
  • Develop and manage documentation for project audits, client approvals, and regulatory compliance.
  • Interpret and manage technical drawings, including mechanical, civil, structural, and P&IDs.
  • Digitize and update field documentation, ensuring accurate redline and as-built documentation management.
  • Liaise with project teams and auditors to guarantee documentation aligns with internal and external standards.
  • Initiate and manage tasks independently, enhancing project workflow and documentation processes.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED; further education or experience in business administration, reporting, or documentation management preferred.
  • Proficient with document control software such as Adobe Acrobat, Bluebeam, Solidworks, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication abilities, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience in Microsoft OneDrive.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with management and project teams.

  • Engage in ongoing training and certification as required by industry standards and company policies.
  • Must pass pre-employment background checks and drug screening.
