We are seeking a Shop Mechanic for our Coraopolis, PA shop, located near Robinson Town Center. This position will require the ideal candidate to work on material handling equipment and forklifts. Must have the ability to work, think and operate independently. Must have own tools.  Dealership experience preferred.  Schedule is 7:30AM-4:00PM Monday through Friday.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Inspect, diagnose and service heavy lift equipment (diesel, electric or LP fueled) to diagnose technical problems
  • Determine required repairs and maintain equipment service records
  • Conduct new assembly and remanufacture equipment
  • Conduct regular preventative maintenance tasks
  • Test mechanical equipment after repair or assembly to guarantee proper performance and compliance with the manufacturers' specifications
  • Hydraulic and electrical experience necessary
  • Prior mechanical and technical experience on large mobile equipment preferred
  • Welding skills preferred and ability to read blueprints 
  • Applicant must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test, physical exam, and background check
