Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Wildlife Proofing Service Technician to join our team. This position is primarily focused on performing exclusion work to prevent wildlife and pests from gaining access to structures. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of building construction, problem-solving skills, and a passion for wildlife management.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Perform exclusion work on residential and commercial properties to prevent wildlife and pest entry.
  • Inspect homes and buildings to identify potential entry points for wildlife, including gaps, vents, roofing, and foundations.
  • Install exclusion materials such as mesh, flashing, caulk, and other barriers to seal entry points effectively.
  • Safely handle and operate tools and equipment necessary for exclusion work.
  • Conduct follow-up inspections to ensure exclusion measures are effective and make necessary adjustments.
  • Educate customers on preventative measures and wildlife-proofing techniques.
  • Maintain accurate records of services performed, materials used, and customer interactions.
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and company protocols during service visits.
  • Provide excellent customer service and address customer concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Collaborate with other team members and assist in wildlife removal and pest control services as needed.
Qualifications:


  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in construction or related field is a plus.
  • Experience in construction, carpentry, or a related trade is preferred.
  • Knowledge of wildlife behavior and pest control techniques is an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify potential entry points in various structures.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and in various weather conditions.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy materials, climb ladders, and perform other physically demanding tasks.
  • Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
