Rome, United States Fairland Recovery Center Full time
Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSalary:

FAIRLAND RECOVERY CENTER

Staff Psychiatrist

WHO WE ARE

Fairland Recovery Center was established with a clear purpose—to be a solution for individuals grappling with chemical dependency and mental health challenges. Our mission is to provide effective, sustainable, affordable, and personalized treatment that fosters healing.

We consider ourselves more than just a treatment center; we are a dedicated collective that is deeply invested in the well-being of our entire community. This includes our patients and their families; our providers, payors, team members, and our local community.

We believe faithfully in the principles of RELATIONSHIP, recognizing the importance of personal care and genuine concern for every member of the Fairland family. Our commitment to INTEGRITY is evident in our emphasis on open and candid communication, ensuring the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, and personal responsibility.

In our pursuit of PERSONALIZATION, we understand that every individual is uniquely designed, and success is dependent on throwing away the “one size fits all” treatment model. Our model is driven by the COMMITMENT of each team member working in their area of expertise so that we collectively deliver our goal - giving our clients the best opportunity for long-term sobriety and stability.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Our Executive team is recruiting for a physician licensed in the State of Georgia to join our team in the contracted role of Staff Psychiatrist. This role is predominantly an advisory and consultative role and not one that provides direct patient care services. The position will provide psychiatric consultancy services for Fairland Recovery Center’s addiction medicine and Executive management teams at such times when the mental health needs of a patient are deemed more significant than can be handled from a co-occurring scope of practice. In such cases, the role will be called in to review medical records to render suggestions and also, if elected, provide psychiatric care to the patient by way of referral to their individual practice.

In a very rare case, the role would agree to provide emergency short-term prescription services to incoming patients. This will be in a rare case such as for some reason, FRC's Medical Director and Nurse Practitioners are not available.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide psychiatric consults for Fairland Recovery's Addiction Medicine and Executive Management Team
  • Conduct chart reviews on a monthly basis and provide psychopharmacologic and diagnostic evaluations.
  • Coordinate and integrate multidisciplinary services for clients with complex psychiatric problems
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • M.D. or D.O. Degree from an appropriately accredited institution.
  • At least 1-3 years of experience in psychiatric-mental health or primary care with relevant psychiatric-mental health experience.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check and standard specimen panel for illicit drug use.
  • If in recovery, must have at least five (5) years of clean time.

CERTIFICATES / LICENSES:

  • Valid Driver’s License and vehicle in good working condition
  • Valid State of Georgia Medical License as a Psychiatrist required.
  • The provider must be eligible for third-party reimbursement.
  • Must have DEA certificate and either have or be eligible to obtain xWaiver for MAT treatments.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 3+ Years of Experience in Psychiatric / Behavioral Health / Mental Health Practice
  • Experience with inpatient or outpatient substance abuse environments is preferred but not required.
