Vocational Supervisor

Full-TIme (35 hrs) located at Harlequin $19.50 - $20.29 hr

Summary of Duties:

The Vocational Supervisor provides supervision and assistance to assigned employees at worksite; provides supported employment services to on site employees as need to assist people to maintain their job.

Essential Job Duties:

1. Participates in development of service plan.

2. Instructs people supported and assists in developing work skills and work habits as specified in service plan.

3. Supports employees to carry out specified production tasks.

4. Analyzes production work to determine flow of tasks and match of people to tasks for optimum efficiency.

5. Prepares billing invoices as needed and submits to business office.

6. Inputs payroll data for individuals as assigned.

7. Adapts work methods to meet individual needs for work skills.

8. Monitors progress against service plan objectives and documents progress or issues via required service documentation.

9. Communicates with Team Leader or designee to inform them of any issues as well as successes.

10. Monitors quality and quantity of work produced to ensure conformance with the contract standards and to monitor progress.

11. Directly assists with production and material handling as needed to ensure contract standards are met.

12. Liaison with community business partners/customers to ensure expectations are met within contract or agreement.

13. Maintains required service, statistical and administrative records as required by the service, agency or customer.

14. Participates in staff meetings and trainings as assigned.

15. Participates in case conferences and monitor service plan to determine progress towards outcomes.

16. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Associate’s degree in a human services or manufacturing or education field PLUS one (1) year of paid experience in a Vocational Program.

OR

High School diploma PLUS three (3) years of paid experience in Vocational Programs.

Prior experience in a supervisory capacity is preferred. Organizational skills required.

COMPUTER SKILLS:

• Ability to use Microsoft products for the creation or completion of forms and reports.

• Ability to use google drive and Microsoft Outlook

• Possess a basic understanding of saving, storing and retrieving files.
