Phlebotomists provide routine collection of multiple samples from a patient in a single visit.

Here's a sneak peek at what you'll do:

  • Perform venipunctures.
  • Collect blood samples.
  • Eliminate biological waste properly and safely.
  • Assist in our mission to provide access to quality health care
  • Work with a diverse patient population in the heart of Dallas

What you need to succeed

To become one of our CARES-givers, you will have excellent patient engagement, strong communication skills and an eye for continuous improvement. You will also have the following:

  • High school Diploma or equivalent required
  • Two (2) years’ phlebotomy experience in a patient care environment
  • Hold a current CPR/BLS certificication
  • Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency is required
  • Experience in community health centers and/or non-profits is preferred.
  • Experience serving multicultural and multilingual patient populations
  • Experience with eClinicalWorks or similar and MS Office Suite skills
  • Have a servant heart with the desire to make a positive impact
