About the Role: Business Analyst I

As a Business Analyst I in our IT department, you will play a crucial role in understanding system change requests and preparing detailed design documents. Your work will ensure that business processes and system changes are accurately documented, developed, and implemented.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with various functional areas to document change requests
  • Analyze the impact of business process changes on technical requirements.
  • Guide projects through the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to ensure successful implementation.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation, including Software Requirements Specifications (SRS), use cases, wireframes, and system flow diagrams.
  • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, development teams, and support teams to ensure clarity and alignment.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and work closely with QA teams to ensure comprehensive testing.


Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, information systems, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2-4 years in a related role; experience working with cross-functional teams is a plus.
  • Skills:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with ALM tools like JIRA.
    • Ability to create detailed technical documentation, including SRS and use cases.
    • Familiarity with HTML and XML is an advantage.
  • Preferred:
    • Experience in the insurance industry.
