At Vireo Resources, we are seeking a talented Warehouse Manager who shares our vision and wants to help us fulfill our mission

POSITION SUMMARY:

Ensures the warehouse operates safely and at peak efficiency with internal/external customer satisfaction and inventory management being primary objectives. The Warehouse Manager is responsible for supervising, organizing, directing, and training warehouse employees in all aspects of receiving, handling, storing, picking, and packaging product from within the warehouse and ensures compliance to systems (NetSuite). The Warehouse Manager is responsible for ensuring storage space is utilized efficiently by planning racking layout as well as working with Supply Chain to modify dimensions of incoming product. This position must possess the ability to work with all levels of the company staff.


ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • LMA – Lead, Manage, and hold Accountable direct and indirect reports to ensure established practices and policies are followed. Challenge and stretch staff to grow and take on more responsibilities and provide regular feedback to team members.
  • Ensure critical KPIs are achieved by reporting on established metrics and creating/executing action plans to improve performance in all areas of responsibility to include: Picking, Staging, Returns, Receiving, Shipping, Inventory Accuracy, and warehouse capacity utilization.
  • Create, implement, and maintain SOPs as necessary for all warehouse functions.
  • Establish proficiency in utilizing various systems in place and ensure staff is proficient in appropriate systems (NetSuite).
  • Ensure a safe and organized warehouse and implement strategies as necessary to safeguard our team and company assets.
  • Communicate consistently regarding issues that could impact production and implement solutions to minimize issues. This includes monitoring of product and working with Supply Chain to ensure proper restocking.
  • Participate and engage as a member of the Management team at Vireo Resources, assisting in tactical and strategic decisions regarding Operations and human capital.
  • Maximize output and efficiency by reviewing and implementing improvements to existing production and quality processes and procedures.
  • Review reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends including failed processes. Capitalize on positive trends and recommend revisions associated with downward trends.
  • Conduct random inspections and audits associated with the various warehouse processes.
  • Participate in external audits associated with inventory.

  • Technical proficiency must be able to use computers and generate reports.
