Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Toddler Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and creating a nurturing environment for young learners. This position offers the opportunity to make a positive impact on children's lives through engaging educational activities. Instruct toddler children in activities designed to promote social, physical, and intellectual growth needed for primary school in a small diverse preschool and child care program that is culturally grounded in bilingual learning.

Duties

## Responsibilities
  • - Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the toddler curriculum
  • - Provide a safe and supportive learning environment for children
  • - Conduct activities that promote physical education, language and literacy education, and emotional/social skills development
  • - Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns
  • - Manage classroom behavior and encourage positive interactions among students
  • - Ensure the well-being and care of toddlers in the classroom setting
  • - Utilize effective behavior management techniques to support a positive learning environment
  • -Arrange indoor and outdoor space to facilitate creative play, motor-skill activities, and safety.
  • -Maintain accurate and complete student records as required by laws, district policies, and administrative regulations.
  • -Prepare reports on students and activities as required by administration.
  • -Organize and label materials and display students' work in a manner appropriate for their ages and perceptual skills.
  • -Supervise, evaluate, and plan assignments for teacher assistants
  • -Attend staff meetings and serve on committees as required.


Requirements

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of professional child care experience.
  • Minimum HS degree and pursuit of Infant Toddler CDA
  • High energy.
  • Ability to work well with others.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills.
  • An understanding of child development.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Must clear full background check and must pass health screening.
  • Care and concern for welcoming Internationals in community
