Responsibilities:

  • Manage materials, personnel, and operations of the West Fargo Sign Shop.
  • Supervise and develop sign shop leadership; coach employees for success through consistent communication.
  • Lead teams with clear expectations and project timelines.
  • Conduct performance evaluations for leadership employees, excluding logistics.
  • Review and approve daily sign shop supervisor timecards.
  • Hire, develop, and discipline sign shop personnel to maintain productivity and quality.
  • Drive continuous improvement in sales, manufacturing, purchasing, shipping, and administrative processes.
  • Manage and improve inventory counts and processes for 3D Specialties and Sign Solutions USA.
  • Collaborate with IT and Production Planning on interbranch freight.
  • Assist in purchasing materials for sign production as needed.
  • Maintain relationships with vendors and customers to ensure accurate, timely, and quality orders.
  • Authorize freight and sign shop invoice payments.
  • Lead weekly sign shop meetings on safety, workload, and product education.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience supervising a group of 20 or more employees.
  • AAS degree in Business, Marketing, Graphic Arts, or a related field is preferred.

Experience and Skills Required:

  • Strong experience with discrete manufacturing
  • Strong technical, organizational, and leadership skills
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems and computer networks
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, with particular emphasis on Excel
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with good public relations skills
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others

Experience and Skills Desired:

  • Background in signage regulation
  • Directly related experience with a high volume of bill of materials in a complex manufacturing facility
