Cabin Cleaners (Fleet) are key members of the McGee team and perform functions necessary to provide passenger service support and to turn aircraft on-time, with a focus on safety and service.
KEY SKILLS
- Promote and maintain a culture of safety at all times
- Maintain a high level of a focus and curiosity in a fast-paced and changing environment
- Execute tasks with safety and compliance at the forefront at all times and report potential hazards and threats

- Flexibility and willingness to perform additional duties as assigned
JOB FUNCTIONS (MAY VARY ACCORDING TO LOCATION
Below the Wing aircraft servicing
- Perform fleet functions and other servicing (e.g., cabin and overnight cleaning, lavatory, water)
- Maintain work areas and ensure the proper care of equipment
- Operate ramp equipment and other equipment
- Perform facility cleaning and janitorial services
- Work outdoors with exposure to the elements and high noise levels for eight hours or more per work day.
QUALIFICATIONS
All Locations and Assignments
- Must demonstrate safe work habits at all times
- Ability to work at a constant and quick pace for up to two consecutive hours
- Flexibility to work varied shifts; weekends and holidays
- Reliable and good attendance and punctuality
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with an ability to get along with others
- Ability to perform work according to set procedures
- Ability to anticipate needs of others in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to understand and interpret flight schedules and airline flight destination information
- Ability to obtain and maintain airport security clearance including background criminal history check, drug screen and fingerprinting required by specific work assignment
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Ability to give/receive oral instructions in English
- Locations/Positions for Below the Wing Assignments
- Knowledge of operation of industrial equipment and previous experience preferred as required by location
- Ability to perform basic mathematical functions
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds on a frequent basis
ADDITIONAL: GENERAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS SUMMARY
- This position requires significant physical agility and physical mobility.
- Must comfortably, frequently, continuously and within short timelines: lift, carry, and move heavy items; work in cramped or high places; climb, bend, kneel, crawl, and stoop for extended periods of time; carry heavy items up and down stairs; push/pull loaded and empty carts; and stand for extended periods.
