We're looking for Behavior Technicians with a strong work ethic and a connection to our mission. As a Registered Behavior Technician, your primary responsibilities are to provide ABA therapy under direction of a BCBA to individuals with a wide range of developmental, social, and emotional diagnosis. That therapy is tailored to each individual, centered around their interests, and rooted in practices that ensure results. Therapy is delivered primarily at our clinic in Leadville. Opportunities for generalization within client's homes, communities, schools, day programs, and telehealth are also available. If you are not already an RBT, we provide paid training Following this, you can follow a clear career advancement path that includes all necessary training, supervision, and even tuition assistance toward an eventual BCaBA or BCBA certification if you choose
Our program is specifically tailored to offer the supervision, mentorship, hands-on experience, and tuition assistance required to become a future BCBA within our organization. You will work closely with a designated BCBA supervisor to engage in a skills training program that will prepare you for a successful career as a BCBA, both in the field and within our organization.
What we're looking for:
Minimum of one year working with individuals with special needs
High School Diploma/ GED
Reliable transportation and proof of auto insurance
Able to pass a thorough criminal background check
Strong work ethic and excellent communication skills
Ability to lift 50 pounds, twist, kneel, and engage in active physical play with children is required
Extra considerations for candidates with:
Degree in psychology, education, human services, or a related field preferred
An active RBT certification
Bilingual fluency
Individuals currently enrolled in BCBA coursework
Pay scale:
$16-$20 RBTs who are not yet pursuing BCBA Coursework
$19-$22 RBTs who are enrolled in or finished with BCBA Coursework (Consultants in Training)
