POSITION SUMMARY:

The Warehouse Cage associate is responsible for inventory control in a secure cage environment processing client orders via sales tickets, reading drawings or schematics, and working within a team to accomplish an overall product of excellence. The successful applicant will be a highly organized and control freak with inventory and details, with a teamwork mentality. This is a non-exempt, hourly position based out of the OKC metro area and reports to the Operations Manager. The applicant must pass a background check, department of motor vehicle check, and drug screen.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, vocational school coursework a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Good verbal communication skills, customer-centric attitude, and approach
  • Safely use hand and power shop tools, equipment, and diagnostic devices
  • Basic understanding, knowledge, and use of a personal computer
  • Must have a smartphone with internet access
  • Must have a demonstrated history or background in inventory control of small parts
  • Must be able to assemble products
  • Must be able to read and process a bill of materials (BOM).
  • Minimum of two years work experience to include:
  • Welding, reading schematics and/ or drawings
  • Position requires sitting, standing, twisting, reaching, pushing, and pulling
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds, with most items weighing between 2 and 20 pounds. Occasionally team-lifting may be required to lift items weighing up to 90 pounds.
  • Must be willing and able to wear safety glasses, safety shoes, and all other PPE required by the company
