Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDescription:
  1. Perform routine cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces, in accordance with established protocols and standards.
  2. Clean and disinfect patient rooms, common areas, and restrooms, ensuring compliance with infection control policies and procedures.
  3. Empty trash receptacles, replace liners, and dispose of waste materials properly to maintain cleanliness and hygiene.
  4. Stock and replenish housekeeping supplies, such as cleaning agents, linens, and toiletries, as needed.
  5. Assist with laundry duties, including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and storing linens and personal clothing items.
  6. Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, reporting any shortages or malfunctions to the designated supervisor.
  7. Follow safety guidelines and use personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling cleaning chemicals and performing tasks in potentially hazardous environments.
  8. Collaborate with other healthcare team members and support staff to ensure a coordinated approach to housekeeping and environmental services.
Requirements:
  1. Prior experience in housekeeping, janitorial services, or related field preferred.
  2. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness standards in a fast-paced environment.
  3. Physical stamina and dexterity to perform repetitive tasks, lift and carry supplies, and operate cleaning equipment.
  4. Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently.
  5. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to interact professionally with patients, residents, and colleagues.
  6. Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
  7. Compliance with background check and drug screening requirements, as applicable.
  8. Willingness to undergo training on infection control, safety protocols, and proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
