Position: Field Service Mobile Crane/Aerial Lift Mechanic
Pay: $40hr.-$50hr.
Shift: 1st – Fulltime (Company Vehicle)
Location: El Paso, TX
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mobile Crane Technician to join our dynamic team. As a Mobile Crane Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing mobile cranes to ensure optimal functionality and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical and electrical systems, hydraulic systems, and crane operations.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on mobile cranes.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in mobile crane systems.
- Perform repairs and replacements of faulty components, ensuring compliance with manufacturer specifications.
- Conduct load tests and certify cranes for safe operation.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to prioritize and schedule repairs to minimize downtime.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, including parts inventory.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and safety standards related to crane operations.
- Train and mentor junior technicians as needed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Mobile Crane Technician or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of mobile crane systems, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components.
- Familiarity with safety standards and regulations related to crane operations.
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills.
- Physical fitness and ability to work at heights.
- Relevant certifications and licenses (e.g., crane operator certification) are a plus.
