This Underwriter position is open in multiple locations across the United States.

The Brinkman Group's client seeks a full-time Underwriter to join their team. This role involves developing and maintaining a profitable book of business through strong relationships with agents and stakeholders. The Underwriter assesses high-quality submissions, negotiates terms, and evaluates risks.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Price policies, evaluate risk, and recommend coverage adjustments.
  • Develop long-term relationships with agents to grow a profitable book of business.
  • Manage internal and external relationships to ensure superior service.
  • Analyze submissions according to guidelines, referring or declining excessive risks.
  • Collaborate with colleagues on targeted accounts and cross-sell opportunities.

Education/Experience/Skills:
