JOB SUMMARY

The Sanitation Worker is responsible for the back of house cleanliness and sanitation, including the pot washing area and basement restrooms; trash removal; and sweeping and mopping of the Community Kitchen.

JOB DUTIES

  1. Responsible for cleaning and restocking volunteer bathrooms
  2. Responsible for pot/dish washing, trash removal, sanitation of stainless steel, all floors sweeping and mopping.
  3. Informs Community Kitchen Director of any equipment that requires repair.
  4. Works with volunteers and clients on cleaning tasks, when they are assigned/available to assist.
  5. Assists Front of House Coordinator with restocking as needed.
  6. Other duties as deemed necessary by the Kitchen Chef Director.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent

EXPERIENCE: Two years food service or comparable experience
