Founded in Henderson, Nevada, in 1999 with a College of Pharmacy, RUHS has experienced phenomenal growth and has expanded to include a College of Nursing (2006), a College of Dental Medicine (2007), and a College of Medicine (in development). What We Are Looking For

  • Working knowledge of pharmacy school curricula and familiarity with the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education policies, procedures, standards, and processes
  • Broad knowledge of issues and current affairs, in pharmacy education, particularly related to experiential education.
  • Ability to provide leadership to faculty, staff members, and students.
  • Ability to supervise staff members.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to network effectively to form alliances with local, state, regional and national colleges and other organizations.
  • Ability to respond to concerns of internal and external constituencies in an effective manner.
  • Ability to exhibit professional behavior, even in challenging situations.

Requirements

  • Doctorate degree (PharmD, PhD, EdD, or other terminal degree)
  • Associate or full professor preferred
  • Demonstrates understanding and experience working with diverse populations.
  • Excellent team-building skills.
  • Exceptional ability to develop and maintain relationships within and outside of the college and University to strengthen collegiality, professional networks, community partnerships, and student learning.
