Are you caring, empathetic, energetic, and dependable with a positive attitude? Would you like a part-time job that offers flexible scheduling during the afternoons, evenings, and weekends as well as during the summer? This is an ideal position for college students, teachers, etc. who may be more available during the summer.

This companion position starts at $19/hour, with probable future pay increases and meals often included.

IN-HOME COMPANION

In this companion care position, you provide cheerful companionship as you assist with various day-to-day tasks. Whether you're doing light housekeeping, laundry, or making dinners, you must have a positive attitude, be a good decision-maker, and be fast on your feet.

You provide companion services during the afternoon, evening, or weekend. In the future, some overnight shifts will be expected. Your patience and kindness are central to your ability to provide exceptional care and companionship.

WORK SCHEDULE

This part-time position typically offers a flexible schedule of around 10 - 20 hours/week during afternoons, evenings, or weekends. We will work around your schedule as much as possible.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN IN-HOME COMPANION

• Reliable Transportation
• Must be energetic and enjoy being active and moving around
• Must be extremely dependable
• Have good decision-making skills, display a calm demeanor, and handle stress well
• Ability to swim and be comfortable with dogs
• Some college is preferred with an interest in health care as a future endeavor, but any major is welcome
