What we are looking for--a medical social worker, who wants to utilize their advanced educational background, their clinical expertise, judgment and discretion, to help identify the patient and family's unique cultural/spiritual beliefs, coping skills, pre-bereavement and anticipatory grief needs to offer a wide range of services to terminally-ill patients and families.

Because you're committed to providing superior care, you understand the importance of being properly prepared for your role at Ohio's Hospice. That's why you'll bring to your role the following set of qualifications: 1-Licensed Social Worker with the state of Ohio LISW preferred or LSW. 2-Master's Degree in Social Work preferred or related degree as required for LSW licensure. 3-One year social worker experience in a health care setting. 4-Certification as a CHP-SW or ACHP-SW preferred. 5-CPR Certified preferred. 6-Computer skills sufficient to properly document services and care. 7-Able to drive during daytime, nighttime or inclement weather. 8-Valid Driver's License with Safe Driving Record. 9-State Minimum Automobile Insurance coverage. 10. Notary designation or intention to complete designation within six months of hire.

Care is provided in patient home, extended and assisted living facilities, three Hospice House locations in Montgomery, Butler and Wayne County, and inpatient hospice centers in Miami and Licking County.
