Therefore we offer Partial Hospitalization (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) Programs, including Dual Diagnosis, and a Transitional Outpatient Clinic, with return to primary care when feasible. Our vision, mission, and values drive every aspect of our organization, and we are seeking a dedicated Medical Director to lead and inspire our team of psychiatrists and licensed therapists in Berkeley across these levels of care.

  • Provide care to patients in the outpatient clinic, intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization programs.

  • Provide psychiatric evaluation and management visits along with individual and family therapy, especially when those therapies are indicated to be best provided by a psychiatrist.

  • Provide psychiatric oversight of the clinical team and perform evaluation and management visits along with psychotherapy in the IOPs and PHPs. LCSWs/LMFTs generally provide the individual, group, and family therapy in the IOPs and PHPs.

  • Responsible for ensuring clinical care provided at the site is of the highest quality.

  • Participate in the recruitment, orientation, and training of new clinicians.

  • Provide regular clinical mentorship and consultation for psychiatrists and therapists at the site.

  • Collaborate with site administrative and clinical staff to address patient letters, complaints, grievances, and all aspects impacting patient and clinician experience when they arise.

  • Experience with delivering care to children, adolescents, and young adults through both in-person and telehealth models, as well as experience with higher levels of care such as Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) and Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)

  • Ability to clearly summarize pertinent clinical information via written correspondence and medical record documentation in a timely manner

  • Onsite in Berkeley Clinic

Compensation & Benefits:
