You will be responsible for the operation of the vertical cooler, and mixing ingredients to coat kibble with palatent, moving finished totes for packaging using a forklift, and sanitizing the vertical cooling room. With a great company culture, a positive team, and opportunity to growth, Barrett Petfood is the right fit for you. 

Job Duties: 
  • Add Palatents (dry & liquid) to finished product 
  • Add color dies to product 
  • Move finished totes to warehouse and packaging departments with forklift 
  • Record and print off labels 
  • Setup and calibrate pumps for each run 
  • Follow GMP’s and safety protocols 
  • Sweep, mop and sanitize throughout the cooling room area
  • Clean totes 
Job Requirements: 
  • Willing and able to lift 55lbs 
  • Mechanically inclined to operate a machine
  • Team effort and communicates well
  • Attention to detail
  • Great troubleshooting skills
  • Stand for long periods of time 
  • Pallet organization while moving finished totes 
  • Computer competency 
  • Forklift experience Required
  • Able to bend, Stoop and reach
Hours:  
  • 3rd Shift: 10pm - 6:30am Monday - Friday
  • Weekend 1st Shift: 6am - 6pm Saturday, Sunday and 1 Swing Day during the week
  • Weekend 2nd Shift: 6pm - 6am Saturday, Sunday and 1 Swing Day during the week
