Location - Fayetteville, North Carolina
Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Family Practice Physician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess the necessary technical proficiency to fulfill the government's requirements and provide exemplary care to our Veterans.
Qualifications
- Fluent in English (speaking, understanding, reading, and writing).
- Current license to practice medicine in any State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Current VHA-approved Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications from the American Heart Association.
- Board Certified by the American Board of Family Practice.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Family Practice within the last 5 years.
- Not listed on the OIG excluded parties list.
Responsibilities
- Conduct clinic appointments and follow-up on labs, imaging, and procedures.
- Interpret diagnostic results and provide phone consultations.
- Collaborate with hospitalists, intensivists, and nurse practitioners for case reviews.
- Manage outpatient care, including both scheduled and unscheduled visits.
- Provide Family Practice and interventional consultative services.
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, health histories, physical examinations, and patient education.
- Order and evaluate diagnostic tests, recommend treatments, and make referrals as needed.
- Document health information, clinical assessments, treatment decisions, and care plans using the electronic comprehensive patient record system (CPRS).
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation for every patient encounter.
