Rechtien International Trucks is seeking experienced and dependable Service Writer (Advisor) to join our team at our Greer SC location.


Position Summary:


  • Can ascertain truck problems and services required as per customer's description of issue; able to conduct inspection;
  • Develops estimates; prepares repair orders (RO);
  • Maintains customer rapport by explaining estimates and expected return of truck; obtaining customer's approval of estimates; obtaining and providing contact telephone numbers; answering questions and concerns;
  • Semi-monthly Salary paid with monthly bonus;
  • Experienced with the CDK (ADP) Dealer System is a Plus, but we will train;
  • Highly motivated with a “can do” attitude.;
  • Position is Full Time, Monday-Friday

Our customer support includes over 70 service bays, more than $8 million in parts inventory and 6 convenient locations in Columbia, Charleston, Florence, Conway, Greenville, and Conway. Rechtien International is an authorized medium and heavy duty truck dealer offering a full line of services for International brand trucks, Ottawa yard spotter tractors. We are an authorized IC Bus parts, service and warranty service center. We are also an Idealease affiliate providing full service truck leasing and daily, weekly and long term truck rental as well as contract maintenance and much more. Our sales team is made up of a highly trained staff to assist with all of your questions about commercial trucks.
