Professional/Educational Experience:

- Bachelor's Degree in architecture, engineering, building construction, or construction management (civil, mechanical, electrical, or architectural).

- At least six years of specialized experience in commercial construction project management.

- Demonstrated expertise in managing complex new construction or major renovation projects, including handling multiple construction or building projects simultaneously.

- Ability to work independently and in teams, especially in high-pressure environments.

- Experience working with GSA Public Building Services, A&E firms, construction contractors and trades, and building suppliers.

- In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies.

- Experience in developing government project cost estimates and tracking project costs.

- Proficiency in creating project schedules using MS Project and/or Primavera.

- Capability to oversee facility construction activities and lead construction progress meetings.

- Experience with commercial projects involving a significant amount of systems furniture.

- Ability to collaborate effectively with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to conduct needs analysis, develop project requirements/objectives, and design preliminary space plans.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on detail-oriented documentation. Capable of effectively communicating with Government Project Managers, SMEs, and development team members, and providing written feedback to Government Project Managers and clients.

- Proven ability to coordinate a project management team and provide appropriate support, coaching, and influence.

- Extensive experience as both a team member and team leader, with excellent interpersonal skills and a customer-service orientation, particularly when interacting with clients from diverse business cultures.
