Warren Nursing and Rehab is currently seeking a Front Desk Receptionist for Monday through Friday 8:00am-4:30p. The front desk receptionist represents the first point of contact with our residents, resident friends and families and employees, We are looking for someone who is kind and compassionate for the elderly, someone who is patient, and can work well with others. *Must have experience in PointClickCare.

*Medical Office Experience required for the position.

1. Must be a high school graduate

2. One year experience, preferably in a nursing home setting

3. Must demonstrate knowledge of a medical business procedures.

4. Must have knowledge of computer and word processing systems


Position Summary:
Responsible for greeting members/guests, answering the telephone, answering inquires, and
providing the service that individuals expect. Support the A certain number of administrative
tasks are also asked of this position to fill down periods
Duties/Responsibilities:
 Answer phone, take messages, and direct calls. Ensure that the calls are received by the
intended recipient.
 Greet and direct visitors and vendors to proper area by name when possible
 Ensures work area, reception area, and main entrance are kept neat and clean
 Be outgoing, friendly, and professional
 Complete clerical work such as typing, filing, sorting, and distributing mail as needed
 Handles incoming/outgoing mail accurately, and timely.
 Assist the department heads with their clerical needs as requested
 Hand out Paychecks and pay stubs
 Ensure BIPA is posted daily (including weekends and return form to HR)
 Creating and posting name labels for the rooms
 Perform screening procedures on staff, Residents, and visitors per facility policy
 Maintain facility screening forms
 Send Mailings as needed
 Maintain and distribute faxes to the appropriate departments
 Schedule transportation for all resident medical appointments (must have Administrator
approval for all non-covered transportation services)
 When BOM is not able you will be responsible to distribute Residents Funds
 Ordering and maintain office supplies for the departments
 Check Medicare Exclusion (OIG) at least quarterly.
 Assist administrative staff as needed.
 All other duties as assigned by Administration
