From High School Football Stadiums to NBA Arenas, they do it all We are seeking a Project Designer for the Custom Stadiums group to join the team This is an exciting opportunity to become apart of a growing company.In this role you will design and detail activities to help shape the organization through the use of 2D and 3D technology. We are seeking someone looking to bring their ideas o life and work within the exciting world of sports facility design. You’ll support sales, engineering, project management, field, and shop fabrication in this role.
Project Designer Ideal Candidate Profile:
  1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent educational background in architecture or engineering. Preference towards Architectural CADD degreed program or similar.
  2. Certificate in Computer Aided Drafting and Design and/or previous experience.
  3. Must have experience with REVIT.
  4. A general understanding of construction practices and principles.
  5. Demonstrated ability to manage/coordinate a small project (or defined portion of a larger project) from concept through construction documentation.
  6. Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines with a sense of urgency.
  7. Proficiency with AutoCad, Revit, and familiarity with other 3D software and Bluebeam Revu, and Office Products.
  8. Passion for technological advancement and personal growth.
Project Designer Responsibilities:
  1. Create the project model in Autodesk Revit or AutoCad, including preparation of proposal drawings, approval drawings, shop drawings, and final field use drawings.
  2. Generate RFI’s to assist job clarity on an as needed basis.
  3. Review drawings, plans, specifications and other customer documentation.
  4. Attend and participate in project specific meetings to determine the most efficient project design while following scope of work, and coordinate with internal and construction schedules.
  5. Identify opportunities for improvement (value engineering) and make constructive suggestions for change.
  6. Shows dimensions, material to be used and other information necessary to make detailed drawing clear and complete.
  7. Communicate details/complexities to ensure an accurate release of information to manufacturing.
  8. Works to help reduce errors and improve drawing standards for external and internal use.
  9. Watches to make sure own project task follows key metric’s; Correct, On Time, and On Budget.
